Infinity Unboxing Project Update...........

01.30.15 Update:  My camera made it home and I will start filming the remaining parts of the Infinity unboxing tonight.  Stay tuned.


Infinity: Operation IceStorm unboxing video project update:  I have some good news and bad news. The good news is I finished shooting 5/6ths of the unboxing video for infinity. The bad news is that my camera started to wig out right before the last sequence. I had to mail the camera to Panasonic today so it can be repaired. I understand this could take a few weeks. I was hoping to post my newest video this week but that is not going to happen now. I will take my time editing the footage I have and finish as soon as I receive my camera back.Thanks for understanding.

3rd game added to my closet

Zombies!! Collection- added to the closet 2005-2013

After finishing High School, going to college and making an attempt to open a video game shop, my interest in Wargaming was rekindled. My fiance made me a valentine's cake with tiny plastic zombies creeping along the top of it. I knew they belonged to some kind of table top strategy game. Browsing through the mall one day I stumbled upon a game store. Inside I found a bag of these plastic zombies and next to the bag a game that would consume my interests. ZOMBIES!!!!!!

The game introduced me to the tile based board game system which for me was a ground breaking revelation. I know, I was out of touch for some time. This concept made so much sense. I went on a shopping spree and purchased the Zombies additions as they were released. This is such a simple and great game. The game play is fun and the mechanics are simple.

Finding this game brought me full circle back to my passion of strategy games. From here I went nuts.

Axis & Allies - added to the closet 1992

I purchased Axis & Allies shortly after HeroQuest. I bought the game master edition and I had a blast with it. I wrote a companion game that works with Axis & Allies called "Nuclear". It utilizes all of the pieces and board from Axis & Allies but it covers the Nuclear Arms threat of the 1980's and alows players to use advanced weaponary, vehicles and long range missles. There is even the opportunity to drop an "A" Bomb on your opponent. I may post a demonstration of Nuclear in a future video or review. Keep in mind, I was only 15 when I wrote this companion game, so don't judge too critically :)

HeroQuest was my gateway into strategy/model gaming.  It introduced me to Games Workshop and from there my interest grew with this hobby.  I started painting the models for HeroQuest a few years after I purchased it.

Zombicide Season 3 Rue Morgue

I received my copy of Zombicide Season 3 Rue Morgue from Cool Mini or Not.  This was a reward I earned through my pledge on Kickstarter.  Cool Mini or Not needed to ship the first part of the Kickstarter campaign early due to warehouse storage restrictions.  I am sure glad they did so.  This is the first game I've received from Kickstarter.  Currently I am waiting on shipments for Wrath of Kings, Aliens vs. Predator, and Mr. Bones II.

Hi, I am Anthony and welcome to my Gaming Closet. I would like to share my adventures in modeling, painting, terrain construction and gaming with all of those who may be interested. My techniques are amateur at best, but I enjoy documenting and sharing my trials and tribulations. Miniature wargaming and filmmaking are both hobbies of mine and I will attempt to use filmmaking and photography to document my attempts at many of the different modeling techniques.

I discovered the game HeroQuest http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/22192/heroquest-advanced-quest from Milton Bradley in 1990 and ever since then I have had a passion for gaming miniatures and painting. Since that time, I have added numerous games and countless miniatures to my collection. However, HeroQuest will always be my favorite and prized possession in my gaming closet. Although my Leading Edge Aliens model collection comes in at a close 2nd.

I'm now starting to venture into the world of Infinity http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/. This is a great skirmish war game that utilizes 28mm character models all with futuristic or urban terrain.
